Clover Pitch

Tent only pitch. Coastal Meadows is not your conventional crowded camping site. Limited pitches, your own spacious pitch and camp-fires!

Clover is perfect for campers who desire plenty of space, set in its own area of a wild grass meadow with its own grassy pathway to the ‘Old Wood Store’ and meadows / woods. Clover shares the upper meadows with Fern, Elderflower and Foxglove pitches.

Clover has a large area for camping. There is a generously sized canvas shelter with undercover picnic bench, hammock, shelving, washing up bowl, water carrier and tea light lantern. Perfect for shady lunches and cosy evenings, even if it rains you can still enjoy the outdoors.

This pitch is only a one minute walk to ‘the barn’, which has your own private shower, toilet and basin. There is also a large undercover washing up area and log store.

At Coastal Meadows, we know that camping would not be camping without a camp-fire. You have your own dedicated camp-fire. Ideal for toasting marshmallows and watching the stars appear. The axe and matches are kept in a locked box if you prefer to ‘get wild’ cut your own kindling.

Please note: One tent = one pitch. Two tents = two pitches etc. Some pitches have interlinking pathways. We aim to be a quiet family site so no groups (more than two pitches).

The ‘lead camper’ must be a member of the Greener Camping Club.  You can join ‘The Greener Camping Club’ at Coastal Wood for only £12.
